Can I cook in my JSG Oceana Glass Bowls?

Yes!  Our JSG Oceana glass bowls are microwave and oven safe.  Due to the formulation of “Hard Roc” Glass, your glass piece can be heated up to 450° F.  Not only can you bake in your JSG Oceana glass bowl, but you can also serve your guests food in something that is beautiful yet functional.  Note:  One exception is our Signature Design Collection, which infuses real gold, platinum, or copper into the glass, making an even more elegant serving piece, but one unsuitable for oven and microwave use.

Are JSG Oceana Tabletop & Giftware items dishwasher safe?

Yes.  JSG Oceana Tabletop and giftware items are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe, except for the Signature Design Collection.  Due to the formulation of “Hard Roc” Glass, your glass piece can be heated up to 450° F. 

Why is JSG Oceana’s Signature Design Collection different from the other JSG Oceana glass pieces?

JSG Oceana’s Signature Collection includes elegant glass pieces infused with 24K gold, platinum, and copper, adding to their exceptional beauty.   Due to the metallic nature of these pieces, they cannot be put in the microwave, dishwasher, or oven.  Failure to follow safe use may result in injury.
